We're Going Dancin'

Who knew a month ago that Mississippi Stat would win the SEC Tournament and get an automatic bid to the Big Dance? Well, I did my part to make it happen. I booked our trip home from Tampa at noon so there would be no way we could see or hear any part of the championship game. When we got home, I turned off my phone so I would see the incoming calls as there would be a complete giveaway on who won. See, my dearest friends don't or can't call until we win and if I saw who'd called after the game I would know who won and watching the game via Tivo would not be a surprise. The problem is that I would not want to watch a tivoed game that we lost--I don't watch or read about losses. Soooo, to make a long story short, my dear Wunderchildren recorded the game while we were flying home and invited us over to watch it and drink a little wine. That was a big, big hint that we'd won. Friends don't let friends watch losses you see. We watched, we couldn't believe what we were seeing and we were glad we weren't there. Dean would have had a heart attack, stroke or arrest due to the weird officiating. Real child, Camille, was mad because she couldn't get in touch w/us but got over it when she realized what were were doing.
