Camille Stops Grizzlies Losing Streak
Thanks to Camille and Marion for supporting the visiting Grizzlies v. Washington Wizards and bringing out the best in them. According to my sources, the Wizards made the Grizzlies look like the Lakers! Way to go girls!
Back from the West Indies
After a week of fun in the sun beginning and ending in Barbados on a cruise, it is true that there's no place like home. I am thankful for my friends like Jordan and Saunders who took care of Casper when Melba thought he'd eaten rat poison (he didn't) and Beth O. who discovered they were going to cut off the utilities in Starkville for non-payment (which we didn't) and went to the utility company and paid the bill for us. I am also thankful we had to opportunity tonight to have red chile w/the Ramseys. I think I am going vegetarian and red chile is a good place to start. Jack spent the day w/Casper today and we think it is like a personal trainer for Weetie and he is getting needed cardio. Now, to news of the weird. I left them home alone and when I got back each had one of Camille's baby dolls. They chose two babies that were identical twins and left all the stuffed animals alone. I cannot figure out there logic and why the chose the twins. What made them decide to go upstairs and look around? Jack will be back tomorrow.

An Unexpected Woo!

I don't think any of us die-hard Bulldogs would have given us a chance to beat Arkansas at Bud Walton arena last night--We have had some very good teams lose over there and I felt like Arkansas has had our number in Fayetteville for years. I am so happy for all of them that we could get a victory like that over the SEC's hottest team who'd just beaten Oklahoma and Texas. I am going to listen to Jack Cristal call them game on M2M this afternoon and enjoy it a lot more than watching Eli--

Football Finality
I am so glad we are down to the last possible college football game of the season. We have been watching bowl games from the outside looking in for over a month now and maybe next year we will be in one ourselves. I think all good Bulldogs will be pulling for Florida since their offensive coordinator will be our next head coach. Hope springs eternal for our beloved Bulldogs and as I was reminded by my Bulldog guru that in 2008 we had four presidents, two ad's two baseball and two football coaches. If change is good, we will be world-beaters. The sun is out and there is optimism all around. Coach Mullen will be in the Memphis area next week to whip up the troops and try to get everyone else fired up and sell a few season tickets as well. Will report on the meeting later. Happy New Year!
