The Rock of Gibraltar

The Rock was one thing I have always wanted to see. I did not dream we would get such an opportunity to see if from a good angle like this--The only bad thing was that there were these Barbary apes hanging out at the top of the rock as well. We had to ride an elevator or funicular up to the top to an observation point and there is where we met the apes. They are very slick pickpockets and you had better not reach into your pockets for anything or have any sort of plastic bag rattle---it will become property of the apes immediately. We saw a tourist become a victim of their theivery as I am sure she thought the rules were not for her so she lost her possessions like the guide said.

Who ever knew such architecture existed in southern Spain? Valencia is the home of very nice, sweet oranges and ultra modern buildings. These house a botanic garden, an opera house and an aquarium.

I have  always heard how snakes could get in your boat but no one ever mentioned a fish could jump into the boat.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee  At Pickwick on the 4th of July, we were sitting on the front of the pontoon boat when a fish came out of nowhere to land on my lap!  I thought Saunders had thrown it on me but Jordan saw it fly out of the water toward both of us  I later had a big bruise where I tried to slap it away.
