The Cutest Easter Puppy EVER!

This is a picture of Casper and his Easter basket from last year. This year we went to Pickwick and didn't get him a basket--I sent all the stuff I could find to DC and the Girls of 1306! Don't feel sorry for Cap, though, he had the undivided attention of both parents as we had no tv or computer at Pickwick this weekend.

Looking for Perfection

I spent many years looking for the perfect margarita, Dean found the perfect cosmo recipe, and Camille is on the lookout for the perfect dining experience. We have all succeeded in our quests and recently I came across the perfect basketball photo. The trouble is that is was an Associated Press photo and couldn't be copied very well. Tonight Jordan and Saunders came for dinner and brught me the legit AP photograph that I can frame. For anyone who cares about the perfect photo here it is. I can't wait to get it autographed and framed for the Hall of Fame in Starkville. Thanks so much, J and S! Tomorrow when I am not so tired I will post the perfect margarita and cosmo recipes!

World's Largest Forsythia

I hate being in pictures but this massive forsythia was worth getting in the frame because it is important to see scale

The South Lawn of the White House

Everything in DC is beautiful but our White House is especially breathtaking.

Cherry Blossoms in Bloom

We were in DC last weekend for the beginning of the Cherry Blosson Festival. We were probably a weel early for maximum effect but it was awesome anyway. I really had no clue of how there were ringing the entire Tidal Basin with the Jefferson Memorial as a backdrop. It was spectaciular.
